Em Wild, commercial photographer and creative director in Düsseldorf

My name is Emily (but please call me Em), and yes, my last name is actually Wild.

I'm originally from Melbourne, Australia, with the love of food and accent to match. Years of shooting with my dad eventually turned into a commercial photography degree, which went straight into a suitcase. It started in London. Ended up being five countries in five years, plus six months on a ship (ask me in person about that one).

Now firmly based in Düsseldorf, I work as a commercial photographer and creative director. I like to build things, layer my Photoshop files like a gourmet croissant, and I make a spreadsheet for everything. My love of food branches into every part of my career, and my addiction to peanut butter is a little concerning.

I work with international brands and local businesses on food and beverage products and the people who craft them. Advanced retouching and AI are part of how I build an image, never a shortcut around making one.

When I'm not in the studio layering pixels you'll find me chasing the perfect sourdough, stirring a cup of tea or pouring a Negroni.
